Midas’ Love or the “Gold Kisser” is an exploration of the alchemy of character, the pain of self-development, and the enormous gulf that materialism can create in love. Tears and Paint. All that glitters isn’t gold.

Downtown Valparaiso Indiana
After winning the grand prize in Valparaiso Indiana’s first annual Pop Up Art event, I was approached to make a wrap for the city’s utility box art project. Being that the piece is vertical in orientation and I had a large horizontal space to fill, I used multiple images of my work in progress across the different panels of the utility box.
